Membership and Donation

Membership in the Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum offers a way to support the ongoing work of the museum while keeping track of what is going on at Lenox Station. The museum is a not for profit 501(c)(3) corporation and offers memberships at different categories:
    Annual individual -- you receive one complimentary train ride $25.00
    Annual Family -- Your family receives one complimentary train ride $50.00
    Patron -- You receive a one-year train pass for an individual $100.00
    Benefactor -- You receive one three-year train pass for an individual $250.00
    Lifetime -- You receive one Lifetime Gold train pass $500.00
As a Friend of the Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum you invest in the preservation and operation of vintage railroad passenger trains in the Berkshires and in the restoration and support of the Lenox railroad station. You will receive all of the newsletters, the annual report of the yearıs activities, free train rides, and a membership card detailing the other privileges of membership.

Volunteers

The Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum is always looking for additional volunteers. Enjoy a hands-on experience in any of these areas which may interest you:

  • Engineer *
  • Brakeman *
  • Conductor *
  • Coach Attendant *
  • Gift Shop Attendant
  • Ticket Agent

Join an enthusiastic group of volunteers welcoming Berkshire visitors and residents to an enjoyable and historic rail ride between Lenox and Stockbridge. Learn about railroad operations. Help the museum grow. Volunteers work one or two weekends a month and are provided free lunch! Complimentary train ride for immediate family members.

* Required training for these positions is provided free of charge
